Southern Arizona offers a variety of historic sites: missions, historic barrios, Indian ruins, mining, early ranches, and more. Below is just a sampling of what is offered.
- Tucson: Mission San Xavier del Bac: Established by 17th century by Spanish missionaries, the mission is known as the "white dove of the desert" and is one of the finest examples of mission architecture in the country.
- Tucson: Historic area walking tour: Walk the historic areas of early Tucson with information about markers, buildings, homes.
- Tucson: Barrio Historico: Take a look at examples of typical Sonoran architecture from the 1800's to early 1900's, original, thick-walled adobe homes and businesses, many painted with vibrant colors.

- Tucson: St. Augustine Cathedral - This 1896 building has a sandstone facade modeled after the Cathedral of Queretaro in Mexico.

- Tombstone: Rendezvous of the Gunfighters
- Tombstone: One of the best preserved specimens of the rugged frontier town of the 1870s and '80s. Site of one of the West's richest silver strikes and the "gunfight at the OK Corral," Tombstone epitomizes the legendary reputation of the "Wild West" and lawlessness of the 19th century mining camps.
- Bisbee: Visit an old mining town with a huge open Lavender Pit Mine, travel into the old Queen Mine as it operated in the early part of the century, lunch at the famous Copper Queen Hotel, and travel the winding streets of the canyon town visiting the quaint shops and Victorian buildings. 2 hours from Tucson.
