Hiking/Biking:

  • Tucson: Sabino Canyon Recreational Area: A narrated tram ride will take you up the canyon and you can get on and off to hike, sit by rocky pools or running streams in the Spring, or hike. You can use the tram to ride back or walk the 3.8 mile paved trail.
  • Tucson: Saguaro National Park: Hiking is available in both the East and West Parks, also mountain biking on some trails. Visitor’s centers in both locations.

  • Tucson: Purple Mountain Goat: Purple Mountain Pack Goats is an outfitting business which operates under a Special Use Permit from the United States Forest Service. We guide day hikes, overnight hikes and camping trips in the Coronado National Forest (which covers most of southeastern Arizona).
